Proverbs 31 Challenge Day 9: Rest & Review

Scripture: Review Proverbs 31:10-16 and 31:10

Bible Reading: Proverbs 9

This week we were presented with how the Proverbs woman is filled with wisdom, instruction and self-disciple. Her respectful fear of the Lord is what drives her to not only hear from him but to be disciplined to apply the wisdom obtained.

She knows her place as a daughter of the King, is a producer rather than a procrastinator, maintains a secure, fully stocked space for her household and is a wise steward of her finances. This woman is everything and we are able to come into agreement with the Word and become this Proverbs woman! This may or may not happen overnight. The goal is to grow daily into her character.

Take time to rest in the word of God by reviewing the past eight days of devotions and Proverbs 1-9 bible reading. Expand the length of your quiet time to hear the next instruction from God. This may come as an audible voice or impression. Getting quiet is key!

Remember to leave a comment. The transparency and fellowship among us has been life giving! We will pick up with a new devotion tomorrow.

“An excellent woman [one who is spiritual, capable, intelligent, and virtuous], who is he who can find her? Her value is more precious than jewels and her worth is far above rubies or pearls.”

‭‭Proverbs ‭31:10‬ ‭

Fellowship Questions

What areas of the Proverbs woman stood out from this past week’s study areas?

What Proverb area(s) has the Lord placed on your heart to grow more fruitful in? (be sure to note them in a journal for future referencing)

Did you take immediate action in any area? If so, what was the result?
