Walking Ahead of God

Have you ever been on track with God then somehow and someway you stepped ahead causing a little distance between you and God? It’s likely that in some point in our walk with Christ this has happened. When everything was going great matters were taken into our own hand and ended in complete disaster. Who? How? What just happened? These are all questions we ask once the wrong plan is discovered. The key if one ever gets to this place is not to fall into condemnation but ask for forgiveness, accept the Lord’s mercy and grace and move forward with your desires toward the Lord. Rewinding past events in the mind only lead to anger, frustration and regret. Instead, use the experience to teach others and protect your mind and soul from falling trap to any like situation ever again.

The following scriptures act as boundary weapons to ensure one stays on track despite the pull of human intellect and wisdom. "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”

James 1:22 "You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised."

Hebrews 10:36 "Teach me Your way, O Lord, that I may walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name."

Psalm 86:11 "Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you- guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us."

2 Timothy 1:14

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3:5-6 Mary Southerland once stated "Each one of us has a life plan but the only plan that matters is the plan made for you by the One who formed you- the One who loves you, knows you and has set you apart to be His own. And it is a great plan!"

Turn your affections back to your Creator. You were created to not merely exist but thrive!
