Proverbs 31 Challenge Day 12: Spiritual Endurance

“She equips herself with strength [spiritual, mental, and physical fitness for her God-given task]

And makes her arms strong.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭31:17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Womanhood ushers in the role of student, mother, wife, business woman, sister, daughter and friend. One can easily become overwhelmed with the wearing of various hats and lose oneself in the midst of supporting others.

The Proverbs woman is equipped for the tasks and roles portioned to her by quenching her daily spiritual thirst from the Father. This is where the true strength of womanhood is derived and executed from. She can function flawlessly being filled with his Spirit first resulting in supporting the people around her cheerfully and effectively. She understands embracing the spirit of the Lord provides her an eternal, divine strength that does not run dry.

“On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.””

‭‭John‬ ‭7:37-38‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;"

Philippians 4:6 NKJV

As excellent women we must prioritize our spiritual covenant with the Lord. He has equipped us with the mind of Christ to execute our life responsibilities effectively for the glory of God. Instead of reaching for a world system, we are to surrender daily with open arms to the Father who provides spiritual endurance to not only endure but victoriously succeed.

Prayer for Spiritual Endurance

“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

Ephesians 3:14-19 NKJV
