Proverbs Challenge Day 24: The Word and Reflection

"Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised."

Proverbs 31:30 NKJV

The recurring theme with the Proverbs woman is that she completes everything with the respect of the Lord leading her to live life intentionally for the betterment of her family. As we approach the final leg of the challenge remain disciplined in your bible reading. The daily devotions are a great way to begin your quiet time but the Word of God activates and sustains long term revelation and change.

Do you seek a change for you or one of your loved ones? Read and apply the Word through prayer. Confess certain scriptures over everyone in your household and watch change activate. Refer to the blog post 'Praying Over Your Children' on how you can confess statements over your family using the Word of God. I have seen affirmations come to life in the lives of my children and husband by praying and believing the Word by faith.

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Hebrews 4:12 NKJV

Take time to rest in the word of God by reviewing the past 23 days of devotions and Proverbs 1-24 bible reading. Focus on the devotions and scriptures that resonate most with your heart and be open to encouragement and correction from the Lord.

Remember to leave a comment. We will pick up with a new devotion tomorrow!
